Meeting the Challenges
This is a critical time for our members, our union and our communities.
We’re up against aggressive employers who want more for less on the backs of workers.
We’re up against Doug Ford and anti-union mayors with their privatization and austerity agenda that’s destroying public services.
And we’re up against powerful, wealthy corporate elites who have Doug Ford in their pockets. They’ve enriched themselves at our expense and they’ve created unprecedented inequality and poverty in Ontario.
It’s Time to Re-assert our Power!
Under Yolanda’s leadership:
- We’ll build a more effective Stop Ford fightback campaign
- Mobilize locally to put union issues front and centre in municipal and school board elections.
- Build stronger locals, coordinated bargaining and strike preparedness.
- Continue our commitment to equity and building a big tent for all members.
Consultative Leadership
Yolanda’s leadership will listen and work with locals and members to develop political action reflecting your priorities.
It will be steady, transparent and rooted in the lived realities of our members.
It will heal divisions and draw everyone under the big tent through inclusion, equity and respect.
And it will continue working with CUPE National to strengthen Ontario campaigns and locals.
